Join the Indianapolis Cultural Trail for a FREE celebration of Latin culture with live music, dancing, art, and food at Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza. Enjoy the sounds of some of Indy’s most popular Latin bands, learn new dance moves from talented local dance instructors during a FREE lesson, and discover unique pieces from local Latino artists and artisians. Food and beverage will be available to hungry dancers on site to purchase. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or have two left feet, Viernes Cultural is a perfect way to start the weekend!
This family-friendly event is completely FREE, but we do ask that you register so we can plan accordingly. So bring your friends, family, and your dancing shoes for an unforgettable night of music, dance, and community. ¡Hasta pronto!
Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza is made possible through a partnership between the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and Downtown Indy Alliance, Big Car Collaborative, and the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development. The dance lesson is sponsored by Indiana Donor Network. Additional activities in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month are provided through a grant from The International Center’s Festival Fund, MIBOR, and Indy Eleven.
