Pennypacker Mills invites visitors of all ages to enjoy an afternoon of 19th‑century fun during Victorian Game Day & Vintage Baseball on Saturday, June 27 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. This family-friendly event is free to attend, with a suggested donation of $2 per person.Guests can try their hand at a variety of traditional Victorian-era activities, including classic lawn games such as croquet, graces, ring toss, and more. Visitors can also explore Victorian-era tabletop games and optical illusion toys, offering a hands-on look at how families of the past entertained themselves indoors and out.
Adding to the excitement, the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia will take the field for a doubleheader, played according to 1860s rules using historically accurate uniforms and equipment. This authentic form of early “base ball” highlights the origins of America’s pastime and provides a lively and educational experience for spectators.
Victorian Game Day & Vintage Baseball is designed to be fun for the whole family, combining interactive play with live historical interpretation on the scenic grounds of Pennypacker Mills.
