BC is missing its 2030 climate targets by 50%, all while the federal and provincial governments are fast-tracking pipelines and pushing LNG! And yet, with all that is happening in the world, climate organizing has lost its momentum.The goal of this conference is to reenergize the climate movement in Victoria by bringing together existing groups and new people. We will establish shared specific demands, prepare for future protests, establish best practices, and create a resilient climate activism community in Victoria.To do so, we trust that other incredible organizers will continue their work for all the other important causes. We know that everything is interconnected and that we are stronger as an alliance, so we work together whenever possible. And we focus our efforts on climate action to ensure that there will be a livable world for everyone.

Climate activism has taken a hit around the world. But here in Victoria, we are getting back up!
