In 2 Women, 2 Mothers, Vicki Dello Joio and Merry Ross offer two original solo performances that explore the complexity, tenderness, humor, and resilience found in mother–daughter relationships.Through deeply personal storytelling, both artists examine what it means to be a daughter and a mother, sometimes simultaneously, and how these roles evolve over time. The performances are honest, intimate, and often unexpectedly funny, revealing the universal truths that live inside our most formative relationships.
In It’s About Time, Vicki navigates the emotional and practical realities of end-of-life care, tracing her transition from daughter to mothering her own mother.
In Therapy Fund, Merry reflects on her relationships with her two daughters, meeting her own missteps with insight, compassion, and laughter.
Together, these pieces create a moving and human exploration of identity, caregiving, legacy, and love.
