Our Vision: To gather in mutual respect and love for all living souls and to honor this gift through music, dance, warm nutritious food, art, play and much much more!!!

Welcome to the playground!!!!!!
Each month we will honor this new space in a different and unique way. With different opening and closing facilitators, guest DJ,s and musical performances and a different warm vegan feast served after each dance.
This new space also offers us an outdoor space for fire spinning, bonfires and all together outdoor fun when the weather permits.
These events will be a SOBER and SAFE space for all to come. We're asking for NO small children please. This is a family friendly event. The dance will be in the spirit of an Ecstatic Dance. There will be no video or phones allowed during the dance as well as keeping it a talking free zone. There is space outside for socializing and resting. This is a judgment free zone...so come as you are...and dance like no one is watching!!!
Special Guest: DJ Smooth Llama
Bio: Music for this ecstatic dance will be DJ'd by smooth llama (Leeza G). A lifelong musician and lover of free-flowing dance, she is inspired by tribal rhythms around the globe. Weaving threads among cultures, each experience unfolds as an evolving journey. "I have had transformative experiences through ecstatic dance and am happy to help create these moments with new friends. I've taught people how to play music instruments for 10 years, which has been incredibly rewarding. I'm currently working as an LLMSW therapist, and combine my work with what I've learned through yoga teacher training."

Opening Dance Facilitator: DJ Ekanti
Since stepping behind the decks in 1999, Ekanti has been a force in the Midwest’s electronic music scene. Raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Ekanti found his musical identity in the pulsating beats of Detroit techno and the soulful rhythms of Chicago house. With over two decades as a vinyl DJ, he masterfully blends old-school authenticity with modern digital innovation, creating immersive sets that resonate with both seasoned ravers and newcomers alike.
Ekanti’s artistry has taken him across Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, and California, gracing festivals, underground events, and intimate venues with his distinctive sound. His performances are a testament to his deep roots in the culture, showcasing a seamless fusion of grooves that keep dance floors alive until the early hours.
In 2022, Ekanti launched Vibe UPP, a project based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, dedicated to fostering a healthy and inclusive dance culture. Through Vibe UPP, Ekanti continues to inspire a new generation of dancers and music lovers, emphasizing the transformative power of rhythm and community.
Whether commanding a warehouse party or curating vibes under open skies, Ekanti’s sets are a celebration of the timeless energy of house and techno. Prepare to lose yourself in the journey, as Ekanti brings the underground to life one beat at a time.
