Join your U-M alumni friends for a celebration of Detroit-style pizza at Via 313 Pizzeria – “via” meaning “by way of” and 313 being the area code of Detroit. The restaurant’s founders, brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt, were born and bred in the Motor City, and have brought to Houston the best of their/our hometown in their award-winning pizza. And we all know that Detroit-style is the BEST style!We’ll meet at VIA 313 for a family-style buffet including salad, cheese bread, FOUR different delicious Detroit-style pizzas, a fountain drink (Faygo is available!), and dessert. And we’ll enjoy a few words from the manager, describing the history of Detroit-style pizza and the story of the Hunt brothers and VIA 313 restaurants.
It’s sure to be a fun Michigan afternoon - we hope to see you there, dressed in your Maize and Blue best!
