VFF ‘26 – Closing Night Awards

Step into an unforgettable evening at the VFF Awards, where the very best in international short film takes centre stage.

Join us for a night of celebration as we honour outstanding achievements in filmmaking across categories including Best Performance, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Canadian Film, Best Film and Best Student Film.

The evening will also feature the presentation of VFF’s honourary awards, recognizing industry impact and leadership, including the Indie Leader Award and Trailblazer Award.

The Experience

Begin the evening on the red carpet, surrounded by filmmakers, industry professionals, special guests and community leaders.

Enjoy a four-course dinner and open bar, followed by the official VFF Awards Ceremony and an exclusive afterparty to close out the night.
