The VFA Summer Games is an Olympic-inspired, citywide youth sports competition and festival taking place June 22–26 in partnership with the City of Las Vegas. Created by Vegas For Athletes, the event brings together thousands of student-athletes and families while helping raise awareness for the importance of free ECG heart screenings for young athletes. The three major events include: Opening Ceremony & Parade of Athletes – June 22 at Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex featuring live entertainment, food vendors, games, giveaways, and a festival atmosphere. Multi-Sport Competition Days – June 24–26 with athletes competing in multiple sports at premier venues throughout Las Vegas. Closing Celebration – June 26 at Cowabunga Bay Water Park featuring a glow-in-the-dark themed athlete celebration to close out the inaugural Games.
