Designed for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and marketers, this knowledge/application-based program provides specialized training in veterinary pharmacology, regulatory compliance, and compounding accuracy. It also covers marketing strategies to help promote veterinary compounding services, supporting both patient care and business growth while fostering collaboration with veterinarians to ensure safe and effective use of compounded medications.
CONTENT:
The course will cover the fundamentals of veterinary compounding, emphasizing species-specific considerations, appropriate dosage forms, and effective flavoring techniques to improve patient compliance. Participants will gain hands-on compounding experience in a lab setting, practicing the formulation of medications tailored to the unique needs of animals.
