El evento anual Veterans Stand Down se llevará a cabo el 6 de noviembre de 2025 en el Zembo Shrine en Harrisburg. Se espera la asistencia de aproximadamente 100 veteranos sin hogar, necesitados o en riesgo. El objetivo es proporcionar a cada uno un kit de higiene personal, un abrigo y botas.
Si deseas donar abrigos y botas (nuevos o en buen estado; para hombres y mujeres de todas las tallas) o productos de higiene personal nuevos y sin abrir (champú, acondicionador, jabón, desodorante, cepillos y pasta dental), puedes recolectarlos.
Las donaciones se recibirán en el YWCA Greater Harrisburg del 20 al 24 de octubre, de 9 a.m. a 3 p.m. cada día.

The annual Veterans Stand Down is taking place on November 6, 2025, at the Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg. They are expecting about 100 homeless, in need, and at-risk veterans to attend this event. They would like to provide each one with a personal hygiene kit, coat, and boots. If you would like to donate coats and boots (new or gently used; men's and women's of all sizes) or new, unopened personal hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes/toothpaste), please collect them.
