Join us at Veterans Memorial Park for a morning of trail work! We will spend the morning cutting back overgrown brush on the trail and replacing mulch along the trail using shovels and wheelbarrows to stabilize it and ensure it's future use. We will split into teams of two to tackle each end of the trail at once and meet in the middle, with a goal of being wrapped up by noon. All tools will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own gloves, shovels or wheelbarrows.
A big thanks to our friends at the City of Newport for providing the new mulch we will be laying down on the trail!
