Celebrate Memorial Day by joining CKAS for a guided walk through Veterans Park. Meet in the parking lot at the end of Rockbridge Road._________________________________________
Target Species: Mississippi Kite, White-eyed Vireo, Indigo Bunting, Yellow-breasted Chat, American Redstart, and Magnolia, Black-and-white, Blue-winged, Blackpoll, and Nashville Warblers.
Terrain: Moderate. Some roadways and grass, with some sloping narrow trails through the West Hickman Creek woods.
Pace: Slow to moderate.
Distance: Approximately 2.5 miles total.
Restrooms: Limited (no access without leaving group to backtrack to nearby shelters/baseball fields).
