Calling all Comrades!
Please join us on Saturday, September 19th from 1130 to 1430 at Jones Island Beach as we have our Annual Veteran's Family & Friends BBQ! This gives us the opportunity to hang out with our close comrades and family members. It also allows us to meet new veterans in the area and introduce them to other veterans who live in Grayslake. All veterans and their family members are invited to attend that live in the Grayslake area.
There will be plenty of food, parking available and a restroom onsite. Bags will be set up along with some other activities for the kiddos in addition to the Playground. Music, drinks, and more - We're doing this RAIN OR SHINE! Please come and enjoy an afternoon of comradery, food and fun at Jones Island with your local Grayslake VFW Post members.
As we get closer to the event date, we will post an evite invitation for a more accurate number of those attending!
This will help us determine how much food to purchase. There is NO COST to you or your family members. This is our end-of-year "hard-work-pays-off-party"! Please RSVP by September 10th.
