Join SUNY Delhi to celebrate 250 years of military service to America! The hour-long program, presented by faculty, staff, students and friends of the college, is open to the public and recognizes both veterans and their families. Reception follows. No registration required. The event is family-friendly and free to attend.
In addition to the modern branches like the United States Coast Guard, Air Force, and Space Force, the SUNY Delhi Student Veterans Association Chapter will take time to consider the original three: the United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps created by the 1775 Continental Congress. Special tribute will also be paid to communities not always highlighted during military honors, including African American, Women, and Native American groups that have served within and alongside our armed forces from the Revolutionary War to modern combat.
Join us Tuesday, November 11, at 3pm in the Okun Theatre in Farrell Center at SUNY Delhi.
