Join us for our annual Veterans Day Ceremony, happening on Monday, November 11th, at 10:30 am inside the Sunrise Civic Center Theater (10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard). Our celebration in honor of all Veterans will feature distinguished speakers, a three-round volley, the presentation of colors, light refreshments, and more.Our Veterans Park Memorial Brick Program is available for members of the community wishing to honor military Veterans by purchasing and personalizing an engraved memorial brick to be installed at Veterans Park. City administrative offices - as well as the Sunrise Senior Center and the Theatre Box Office - will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. The Bridges at Springtree Goff Club and all Sunrise parks will be open regular hours. The following facilities will have adjusted holiday hours:
Civic Center Aquatics Complex - 10 am to 3 pm
Civic Center Athletic Club - 8 am to 3 pm
SAC Multipurpose Center - 9 am to 3 pm
Sunrise Tennis Club - 8 am to 3 pm
Village Multipurpose Center Gym - 9 am to 3 pm
Please note: City of Sunrise administrative offices will be closed on Friday, November 10th, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
