Veterans Coffee & Conversations

Barrel & Bean CoffeeHouse – Veterans Coffee & Conversations
This past Saturday we only had two of us show up, but the conversation was full and genuine.
We talked MOS’s, branches of service, Iraq, Afghanistan, BCTs, BDOCs, TOCs, COBs, UAVs, Gerbers, and the small-world moments that only other veterans understand.
We even realized we had both been on the same Irreverent Warriors Silkies Hike in Lexington back in 2022 and never knew it until now.
We’re working to build a simple, steady community right here in Nicholasville so no veteran has to feel alone.
Small groups can still create something meaningful, and we know we can grow it.
Next meetup:
Saturday, November 21, 2026
11 AM – 1 PM
Barrel & Bean CoffeeHouse
613 N. Main St., Nicholasville, KY
Meet in the coffee bar area and on the back deck (weather permitting).
Coffee, conversation, and connection — all veterans welcome.
No RSVP is required — just show up.
That said, a quick comment or message letting us know you’re planning to come is always helpful so we can get a sense of the group.
We’ll save you a seat. 🇺🇸
