The LPC Veterans First Program is hosting an “Honoring our Veterans” First Annual Golf Tournament at the Las Positas Golf Course on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Color Guard, National Anthem, Congressional Medal of Honor recipient James Taylor will be joining us. To signup or be a sponsor, visit the Veterans First Program website: www.laspositascollege.edu/veterans. Deadline to sign-up is November 12, 2024. All the funds raised will be benefit veterans and military affiliated students at Las Positas College. Funds will go toward scholarships, stipends for gas (for veterans who drive over 50 miles one way to attend class, e.g., Merced and Sacramento), stipends for diapers/childcare, and incidentals that VA education benefits do not cover.
