Veterans Appreciation Luncheon

The National Association of Federal Retirees (NAFR) – Calgary Branch invites you to join us for a special Retired Veterans Appreciation Luncheon in recognition of the service and contributions of retired Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Veterans.

The morning will honour our retired CAF and RCMP Veterans while highlighting some of the programs, services and resources available to support them. Representatives from organizations that support Veterans and their families will have an opportunity to share information about their important work and the resources available to Veterans.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn more about ways they can support these organizations and the important work they do in our community.

A luncheon will be served following the presentations, providing an opportunity to continue the conversation, connect with fellow members and show our appreciation for those who have served.

Retired CAF and RCMP Veterans are warmly invited to attend, whether or not they are NAFR members. We also encourage all Calgary Branch members to join us and demonstrate their support and appreciation for our Veterans.

If you are able, we encourage you to consider bringing a donation to support an organization or program that assists Veterans and their families.

Donation needs and accepted items may vary. If you wish to support the Veterans Food Bank, please bring a non-perishable food item. Information about other ways to support Veterans and participating organizations will be available at the event.
