Veterans Appreciation Dinner

Special Olympics Indiana Jackson County's inaugural Veterans Appreciation Dinner is at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Seymour Community Center, 107 S. Chestnut St. Seymour.
Special Olympics athletes and volunteers are welcome to invite a U.S. military veteran to the event. Attendees will enjoy a free dinner and program. The dinner will include food made by two local veteran-owned businesses.
Each athlete and volunteer should buy or make a small gift to present to their veteran that night, whether it’s a card or artwork they buy or make by hand, a gift card or any other token of appreciation.
Registration is required online at tinyurl.com/bur7rtem. Any local veteran interested in attending is invited to register, too.
