Veteran Meet & Greet @ MKE Urban Stables - Valentines for Veterans

Join your fellow veterans for an uplifting meet-and-greet hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and MKE Urban Stables on **Tuesday, February 4th, from 5 PM to 7 PM**! 🎉 Light refreshments and delicious appetizers will be provided to keep our spirits high! 🍽️This is a wonderful opportunity to tour the facilities, learn about the heartwarming healing power of equine therapy, and create heartfelt Valentine’s Day cards.

💌 All crafting materials will be provided for the cards, which will be sent to Wisconsin veterans residing in the Veterans Homes of Chippewa Falls, King, and Union Grove."Last year, the residents were absolutely thrilled to receive Valentine’s Day wishes and thoughtful messages," said Secretary James Bond.

💖 In our first year, the WDVA received **24,000 valentines**; last year, that number grew to an amazing **28,000!** 🎊 Thanks to your incredible support, the WDVA will be able to spread even more love by delivering valentines to our three Veterans Housing and Recovery Program locations in Chippewa Falls, Green Bay, and Union Grove.

The valentines are hand-delivered by dedicated staff, including Secretary Bond, bringing joy to our community's veterans, their loved ones, and Gold Star Families.
