MVCC & Rain City Rock Camp Present: Veteran Band Club
Ever wanted to learn guitar, write a song, or perform on stage, but didn't know where to start?
MVCC is teaming up with Rain City Rock Camp to host a four week Rock Camp with our friends at Northwest Paralyzed Veterans of America. The Veteran Band Club is designed for military veterans and family members - and no experience is required to participate.
The club is a brave, inclusive space to tap into your creativity and make some noise. Rain City Rock Camp's expert instructors will provide the gear and guidance. You just need to bring yourself!
Participants will choose to focus on guitar or vocals. From there, you'll break off into small groups to write and work on your song. We'll cap it all off with a live showcase to celebrate your hard work!
🗓️ The Schedule:
Dates: Saturdays - May 30, June 6, 13, and 20
Time: Doors Open at 11:30am for lunch, Workshops are from 12:00pm - 3:00pm
The Showcase: Saturday, June 20 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm
What We Provide:
Food: Lunch and beverages throughout camp to all participants.
Childcare: Available upon request.
Transportation: Support is available if you need help getting to and from Burien - Just let us know in the order form when you secure your ticket and we'll be in touch.
Gear: All instruments and equipment are provided by Rain City Rock Camp.
