About this Event
Join us for a day of rejuvenation and community on a guided hike at Golden Canyon! This event is designed to bring veterans and their families together in a supportive environment, offering a chance to de-stress and reconnect with nature and one another.
Our knowledgeable guides will lead the way, focusing on safety, pacing, and ensuring everyone feels comfortable and included. This hike is more than just a physical journey, it's an opportunity to find peace in the outdoors, share experiences with a supportive community, and build resilience. Transportation is provided from the Scheitler Recreation Center, making it easy for everyone to join.

What Participants Should Bring
To ensure you have a safe and comfortable day, please come prepared with the following:
Water: A full water bottle.
Food: A sack lunch and snacks for the day.
Footwear: Closed-toe, closed-heel trail runners or boots are Required.
Clothing: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Layers are recommended as temperatures can change throughout the day.
Sun Protection: Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are highly recommended.
Health Forms: Please bring a completed physical copy of the PR Waiver & Health Form.
