Vespa is a 4-piece West Michigan band that feels both fresh and timeless. As if a '90s female-fronted band grew up on Muscle Shoals, their chemistry is impossible to overlook. Lead singer and songwriter Sarah VE wields a tenor guitar, crafting heartfelt lyrics that balance vulnerability with power. “Kinda rock. Kinda folk. Kinda blues.”

Formed in 2016, Deerfield Run blends blues rock with a touch of country and a dash of funk, serving up a tasty musical blend. The Grand Rapids, MI, band delivers original songs and surprising covers pulled from a deep back pocket of classic tunes. Their debut, self-titled album was released in September 2017, and their newest album, Reckless, in September 2020. The band released singles in 2023 and early 2025, and is back in the studio working on more music for release in 2026.

Rebecca Rodriguez and Aaron Ekins—formerly of the long-running pop band The Icicles—left pop music in the sun and have turned to the shadows with their dark folk band Rabbit Fur. Joined by With Anne LaGrand on cello and Matt Reidsma on mandolin, Rabbit Fur create somber, dark folk music with dream-like vocals.
