Vertigo the Ultimate U2 Tribute band Jason Sambataro: Lead Guitar
Born & raised in Hollywood, Florida Jason Sambataro is a musician, vocalist, and live performer with over 30 years of experience throughout South Florida’s best & most well-known bars, clubs, private venues & high-profile event stages across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties. A staple in the local music scene since the early 90s, Jason has become known for his consistency, strong vocals, and ability to connect with diverse crowds.
You can say music is in Jason’s blood as he grew up in a very musical family. Jason’s father is Johnne Sambataro, a recognized & notable touring & session musician who for over 40+ years has been the lead guitar player for the Dave Mason Band & was also the former lead singer of the band Firefall.
Jason has played Guitar & Bass for many different South Florida bands over the years (Jason K & Signal Fire, Jason Snider Band, Stirling Road, Bonn E Maiy, Silent Shout, Stereotomy, Havoc 305, Steeltown Religion, How Original & the Johnne Sambataro Band). In addition to being an active musician Jason has also been a full time DJ & Emcee for the Party Pros Events for over 25 years.
As a core member of Vertigo the Ultimate U2 Tribute band, Jason is dedicated to faithfully recreating the live impact of U2’s catalog & more importantly replicating the sound, feel & look of The Edge’s creative & innovative guitar playing.
Jason is highly involved in production, branding, & presentation, ensuring each project he is a part of maintains a professional image both onstage & online. Jason always delivers a polished, audience-friendly performance & his focus on musical integrity, preparation & crowd engagement continues to make him a well-respected presence & powerhouse in the South Florida live-music community.
