VERSES Open Mic - Free Admission

In memory of the co-founders of CRYOUT CAVE, AJ Songwarrior + Anthony ASax, we are taking things back to THE BEGINNING! VERSES Open Mic is where it all began. Downtown Newark at Planet Wings in 2008 with GODSENT, AJ Songwarrior + ASax. It was a FREE EVENT, where we accepted donations towards the CAUSE of growing the platform bigger and better for the POETRY community.

Welcome to the VERSES Open Mic event! Join us for a night of poetry, music, and spoken word at CryOut Cave. This is your chance to showcase your talent or simply sit back and enjoy the performances. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a first-timer, all are welcome to participate. So grab your friends, bring your best piece, and let your voice be heard at this open mic event. Admission is free, so come and experience the magic of live performance!
