Verse4Verse: Drag + Poetry + Death
About this Event
A Verse4Verse evening has original poetry, drag performances, comedy, and audience games.
Verse4Verse is hosted by Poison Oak (she/her). Poison Oak is a Queens-based poet, drag queen, comedienne, and show host. A collection of her published work can be found at www.PoisonOak.NYC
For our October show, we are having a Halloween celebration of DEATH. We will be featuring special guest, Angus Beef (he/him). Angus Beef is a horror drag king from the Scottish county of Angus. He is raw, bloody, and possibly grass fed. When he is not dribbling blood around the bars and clubs of NYC, he can often be found writing about horror movies for publications like Fangoria.
DADA is the home bar for Verse4Verse and Ridgewood's coolest cocktail lounge.
