Event runs from 10am (with an extra hour), now until 6pm. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES AND EVENT/GUEST INFO. We will be dropping each event info, late Winter early Spring. Follow us on FB here or IG!

Vernon Comic Con began in 2018 and it has been a wonderful gathering of like minded friends, who arrive in Vernon from all over! It's about everything Fandom! Movies, TV shows, Gaming, Comics, Cards Toys, Collectables and so, so much more!!
As you know, The Vernon Comic Con is always on the first Saturday in May, which celebrates Free Comic Day (which will be offered as supplies last), thanks to Ebenezer's!
Even though we keep growing thanks to you, last year's lines went through very quickly as we are now into two buildings. You can enter from either building first. We also added the large Vernon Curling Rink (next door) to the Rec Centre. Now basically having a Vernon Comic Con Campus, for you to enjoy.
Pay entrance is through the Main Hall (front of rec centre)
OR at the Curling Rink from the back by the outdoor rink .
If you get hungry, there will be Food Trucks outside and some snack vendors inside.
In the Main Hall (rec centre creekside room) you will find the majority of our vendors, some special surprises, TCG Trading Room (in dogwood gym), a Game Show for prizes and much, much more. The Curling Rink will host more vendors, a chill space with tables, a massive new photo op replica of a specific film and some activities.
The Main Hall, Halina Centre, Curling Rink and Dogwood Gym, access to everything is Only $10 per person (children under 12 yrs old are free... thanks to TOURISM VERNON)!

The Dogwood Gym (inside the main rec centre), will host a few vendors and many tables, as we run a few TCG Tournaments in there.
We will also have a stage in one of our rooms, for cosplay action, guests and much more. Stay Tuned.
On our main stage, there will be guest speakers and our cosplay showcase. Email us, if you want to participate in the showcase.
*Most vendors will have debit etc, yet feel free to have cash on hand, for entrance to make things move quicker. It helps the line move quickly with cash.
The 501st Legion will be in attendance for photos for all Star Wars fans. All of the photo donations go to NOYFSS. Working on new special 501 guests. The Okanagan Ghostbusters will be on site, to help out the Hospital.

The VCC is much, much more than comics. Come join the fun, meet some wonderful collectors, artists, play games, search through a plethora of long boxes for that special comic, find unique collectables, buy/sell/trade cards, view stunning props, costumes, cards, video and board games, take in photo ops, find vintage items and much more. From private collectors and artists to retail outlets bringing out their special items that are hardly seen with many deals. For those that have never been to a collectable show or con, this event has something for everyone and it’s much more than you think. This convention was created for the entire family!

DJ Lunchboxx will spin some fun music in the background, stay tuned for more fun ideas that will happen that day.
PS If you would like a photo with a Cosplayer, PLEASE respect them and always Ask for their permission. They would love to showcase their work.
Many get into the spirit and dress up as their favourite characters. We had entire families becoming Superheroes! You have time to start designing your Luke Skywalker, Harley Quinn, Kitana, Pokémon Ball, Peacemaker, Green Lantern, Supergirl, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Okami Amaterasu, Trekkie costumes etc now! We look forward to seeing you again. It’s a fun filled day, for all of us like minded fans!!
