Välkommen på vernissage för jubileumsårets första utställning, Torrlägg Öresund!
Utställningen samlar fjorton konstnärer från båda sidor av Öresund. Med lokala och regionala berättelser som utgångspunkt undersökerden regionen som en plats för sociokulturella, ekologiska, teknologiska, ekonomiska och politiska sammanflätningar. Vernissagen sker i samarbete med Brogatan Exhibition Program (BEP) x PLX, som öppnar upp dörrarna för fortsatt fest klockan 22!
Torrlägg Öresund är curaterad av Post Brothers. Medverkande konstnärer: Hannibal Andersen, Kalle Brolin, Kåre Frang, Sebastian Hedevang & Andreas Rønholt Schmidt, Henriette Heise, Silas Inoue, Hanni Kamaly, Dag Kewenter, Aleksandra Kucharska, Ina Nian, Jessica Olausson, Vibe Overgaard, Matilda Tjäder.

19:00 Öppning – utställningen öppnar och restaurang Smaks bar är öppen
19:30 Välkomsttal med konsthallschef Mats Stjernstedt och utställningens curator Post Brothers
22:00 Malmö Konsthall stänger, och festen fortsätter i regi av BEP x PLX på Föreningsgatan 7 med dj:s och performance! Alla som deltar i vernissagen får en stämpel för gratis inträde. Kvällens akter: Amina Szecsödy, Brenda El Rayes, David Neman, Ollbult, Alexander Höglund. Festen fortsätter till kl 01!

Welcome to the opening of the first exhibition of Malmö Konsthall's 50th-anniversary year, Drain the Öresund!
The exhibition features fourteen artists from both sides of the Öresund. Drawing from local and regional histories, the exhibition explores the region as a site of socio-cultural, ecological, technological, economic and political entanglements. The vernissage event is a collaboration with Brogatan Exhibition Program (BEP) x PLX, who will open their doors for continued festivities after Malmö Konsthall closes at 22:00.
The exhibition is curated by Post Brothers. 19:00 Exhibition opens and restaurant Smak’s bar will be open
19:30 Welcoming speech by the Director of Malmö Konsthall Mats Stjernstedt and the exhibition's curator Post Brothers
22:00 Malmö Konsthall closes, and the afterparty continues with BEP x PLX at Föreningsgatan 7 with DJs and performances! Everyone attending the vernissage will receive a stamp for free entry. The evening’s acts: Amina Szecsödy, Brenda El Rayes, David Neman, Ollbult and Alexander Höglund. The party continues until 1am!
