🤖🎨Since the end of 2022, the rapid rise of generative AI systems has increasingly shaped artistic, social, and political debates. Within just a few years, enormous investments have been made in data centers, new infrastructures have emerged, and global power constellations have shifted. At the same time, questions of energy consumption, regulation, digital ethics, and democratic oversight have moved to the forefront.🎨🤖
🧠Examples such as the virtual AI minister “Diella” in Albania or the admission of the non-binary AI “Flynn” as a student at the University of Applied Arts Vienna demonstrate how deeply AI is already embedded in social, institutional, and symbolic orders. Key concepts such as deep fakes, neural networks, or AI agents are omnipresent, yet remain opaque and difficult to grasp for many. 🧠
🎭 The exhibition approaches these developments from an artistic perspective. In a critical, post-autonomous approach, art positions itself as a framework, a reflective surface, a playground, and an early warning system. The exhibition asks whether discussions about AI can extend beyond questions of artistic autonomy and whether societal transformation processes must be negotiated collectively with other actors. 🎭
⚖️ Central themes include humans and machines, bodies and data, the public sphere and authorship, history and entanglements, as well as the ambivalence between fascination, ideology, and power. AI appears not only as a tool, but as a cultural infrastructure: it reproduces norms and biases, shapes narratives and visions of the future, sets aesthetic standards, and exerts both political and material influence. ⚖️
💻 A dedicated section of the exhibition is devoted to questions of digital ethics. Lectures, presentations, and discussions accompany and deepen the artistic positions. 💻

🤖🎨Seit Ende 2022 prägt der rasante Aufstieg generativer KI-Systeme zunehmend künstlerische, gesellschaftliche und politische Debatten. Innerhalb weniger Jahre wurden enorme Investitionen in Rechenzentren getätigt, neue Infrastrukturen und globale Machtkonstellationen sind entstanden. Gleichzeitig rücken Fragen nach Energieverbrauch, Regulierung, digitaler Ethik und demokratischer Kontrolle in den Vordergrund.🎨🤖
🧠Beispiele wie die virtuelle AI-Ministerin „Diella“ in Albanien oder die Zulassung der non-binären KI „Flynn“ als Student:in an der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien zeigen, wie sehr KI bereits heute in soziale, institutionelle und symbolische Ordnungen eingebunden ist. Zentrale Begriffe wie Deep Fakes, neuronale Netzwerke oder KI-Agenten sind allgegenwärtig, bleiben jedoch für viele schwer durchschaubar.🧠
🎭Die Ausstellung nähert sich diesen Entwicklungen aus einer künstlerischen Perspektive. In einem kritischen, postautonomen Ansatz positioniert sich Kunst hier als Rahmen, Spiegelfläche, Spielfeld und Frühwarnsystem. Gefragt wird, ob Diskussionen über KI über Fragen künstlerischer Autonomie hinausreichen können und ob gesellschaftliche Transformationsprozesse gemeinsam mit anderen Akteur:innen verhandelt werden müssen.🎭
⚖️ Im Mittelpunkt stehen Themen wie Mensch und Maschine, Körper und Daten, Öffentlichkeit und Autor:innenschaft, Geschichte und Verflechtungen sowie die Ambivalenz zwischen Faszination, Ideologie und Macht. KI erscheint dabei nicht nur als Werkzeug, sondern als kulturelle Infrastruktur: Sie reproduziert Normen und Bias, formt Narrative und Zukunftsbilder, setzt ästhetische Standards und wirkt politisch wie materiell.⚖️
💻 Ein eigener Bereich der Ausstellung ist Fragen der Digitalen Ethik gewidmet. Vorträge, Präsentationen und Diskussionen begleiten und vertiefen die künstlerischen Positionen. 💻

🤖🎨Od końca 2022 roku gwałtowny rozwój generatywnych systemów sztucznej inteligencji coraz bardziej kształtuje dyskurs artystyczny, społeczny i polityczny. W ciągu zaledwie kilku lat poczyniono ogromne inwestycje w centra danych, co doprowadziło do powstania nowej infrastruktury oraz wykształcenia nowych globalnych układów władzy. Jednocześnie na pierwszy plan wysuwają się kwestie zużycia energii, kwestie regulacji prawnych, etyki cyfrowej oraz kontroli demokratycznej.🎨🤖
🧠Przypadki takie jak wirtualna minister AI „Diella” w Albanii czy dopuszczenie niebinarnej SI „Flynn” jako osoby studiującej na Uniwersytecie Sztuk Stosowanych w Wiedniu pokazują, jak bardzo sztuczna inteligencja już dziś jest włączona w układy społeczne, instytucjonalne i symboliczne. Kluczowe pojęcia, takie jak deep fake’i, sieci neuronowe czy agenci AI, są wszechobecne, pozostając jednak dla wielu osób trudnymi do zrozumienia.🧠
🎭Wystawa stanowi refleksję o tych procesach z perspektywy artystycznej. W krytycznym, postautonomicznym ujęciu sztuka pozycjonuje się tu jako warunki ramowe, przestrzeń refleksji, pole manewru oraz system wczesnego ostrzegania. Stawiamy pytanie, czy dyskusje o AI mogą wykraczać poza kwestie autonomii sztuki oraz czy procesy transformacji społecznej powinny być negocjowane wspólnie z innymi podmiotami.🎭
⚖️W centrum uwagi znajdują się takie zagadnienia jak relacja człowieka i maszyny, ciała i danych, sfera publiczna i autorstwo, historia i jej struktury, a także ambiwalencja pomiędzy fascynacją, ideologią i władzą. Sztuczna inteligencja jawi się tu nie tylko jako narzędzie, lecz jako infrastruktura kulturowa: reprodukuje normy i uprzedzenia, kształtuje narracje i wizje przyszłości, ustanawia standardy estetyczne oraz oddziałuje zarówno politycznie, jak i materialnie.⚖️
💻Osobna część wystawy poświęcona jest zagadnieniom etyki cyfrowej. Towarzyszące jej wykłady, prezentacje i dyskusje pogłębiają rozumienie prezentowanych postaw artystycznych.💻
