🎃 VERMONT AVE HALLOWEEN 2025 IS ON! 👻We’re so excited to continue one of our favorite neighborhood traditions: the annual Vermont Ave Halloween trick-or-treat celebration! It’s always such a special night for our community, and we can’t wait to see everyone out having fun again this year.
A few important notes for 2025:
- Street Closure & Police Presence:
Vermont Ave will not be closed this year, and there will not be a police presence.
- Our goal continues to be keeping children safe, so PLEASE DO NOT trick-or-treat from your car or drive down Vermont Ave. We’d love to keep car traffic to a minimum for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Parking on Haywood rd, the paid lot at the end of Vermont, and the side roads and walking down Vermont is ideal!
- Not every home will be handing out candy, but most will! Some may finish early if they run out (lights off around 8 PM). If you’re participating, please keep your lights and decorations on to make it clear you’re open for trick-or-treaters!
- We will be taking donations for candy from anyone who is graciously willing to contribute! This helps our neighbors out so much. We give away between 2000-3000 pieces of candy per home, and we want to be able to give candy to as many kids as possible, so please consider donating to our gofundme. We will use the money to purchase candy a few days before Halloween and will distribute the candy among all of the neighbors! Please donate via the go fund me!
