Cuyahoga Valley Railroad - Hartville - Maize Valley Winery
- Senior Bus Trip
We begin our day boarding the bus at the Vermilion Y at 6:45 AM, bus departs 7 AM. Or if you are near Amherst, the bus will pick up at the Heritage Presbyterian Church at 7:15 AM. Then heading to the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad where we will depart at 9am in Independence to enjoy scenic railroad trip to the Akron Station. Next, it’s a delicious lunch at Hartville Kitchen. After lunch there will be plenty of time to enjoy shopping at The Shops at Hartville Kitchen, Hartville Market Place & Flea Market. Our next stop will be Maize Valley Winery for a wine tasting and shopping. We will return to the branch around 5:30pm..
Treat yourself to a day of America's pastime! Bus leaves the Vermilion Family YMCA 1230 Beechview Dr., Vermilion, Ohio (back of the large parking lot behind the Church of the Open Door) at 7 AM promptly. Look for the double wide sidewalk. Or if you are near Amherst, the bus will pick up at the Heritage Presbyterian Church at 7:15 AM. Then back home around 5:30 PM depending on travel time.
