Venture Society

This 3-week therapeutic gaming group is for children ages 8–11 who enjoy board or card games and would benefit from developing social-emotional skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and building positive relationships. Children will play Venture Society, taking on animal characters in the imaginary world of Animalia and working together on a fun, non-violent Snowflake Quest during the December group. Facilitated by a play therapist specializing in therapeutic gaming, the group uses imaginative play and role-play to help children practice communication, assertiveness, collaboration, and other social-emotional skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
