The Ancestors, Dísir, Wodan, and the Light Elves invite you to celebrate one of the three most sacred blots of the year — Vetrnætr (Old Norse for “Winter Nights”), also called Álfablót (honor to the Elves) — honoring the old ways of the ancestors at Pagan Ritual Dance Party #32.

The veil thins at Vetrnætr and communication with the ancestors was more easily achieved. This was the start of winter and also the Wild Hunt, the trans-dimensional force of the Dísir — female protective ancestors — led by Wodan and the Valkyries.
As the veil thinned, so too were more malevolent creatures taking advantage. And so our ancestors called upon and honored the Wild Hunt for protection.
We will invoke the Wild Hunt in the ritual, following the Anchor the Light meditation and field generation.
We encourage you to attend the ceremony preceding the dance party, honor your ancestors and the old ways — as we Anchor the Light of our Divine Selves.
Take time to remember those who came before you. Speak their names. Give thanks for the blood, wisdom, sacrifice, and life that traveled through generations so that you might stand here now.
Honor the Ancestors. Honor the Dísir. Welcome the coming Winter.

∞ RHYTHM OF THE EVENING
7:20PM — Doors Open: Dinner available for purchase from Chef ISH, and available with upper-tier tickets, which include meals!
You will walk into the space through three Rune Staves with ancient Runic magick designed to 1) transmute and remove curses, 2) deflect and stop psychic attacks, and 3) imbue the traveler with frequencies of emotional stability, wealth, and blessing.
Explore and drop into the space by the fires 🔥, get face and body painting of Runes and benevolent magickal symbols, Scandinavian-style hair braiding, browse the magickal item vendors, food and elixirs.
9:00–10:00PM — VETRNÆTR / ÁLFABLÓT RITUAL 🌙
We will all gather in circle, give thanks, and meditate together, anchoring our own Divine Light, honoring our ancestors, and invoking the natural Light, Gods & Goddesses.
Together we will honor the Dísir and Light Elves and invoke the Wild Hunt for protection, following the Anchor the Light meditation and field generation — concluded with a Mead Ceremony & toast. 🍻
The ritual will be led by Gothi Ubbe MacLean, with Gythias Brigitte Mars, Rev. Angelia LaRue, Erin Sunniva & Caressa Ayres.
And then we dance.
The ceremony opens the door. The dance carries you through.
From 10:00PM onward — an evening of ritual merriment featuring Bethy LoveLight, Bloomurian, Temple Step Project, Magikally Delicious & Julian Ocean, carrying the gathering through the night until 4:20AM.
