Curious about gardening but not sure where to start? Join us for a fun, hands-on introduction to the basics of growing plants.
This five-week series is designed for beginner gardeners interested in learning how plants grow, how to care for them, and how gardening connects to sustainability, wellness, and food production.
Each weekly session will explore a different theme—from soil and seeds to troubleshooting common garden challenges and harvesting fresh produce. Participants will gain practical skills, confidence in the garden, and inspiration to continue growing at home, on campus, or in their communities. No prior experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity and get ready to dig in! Find the details on our website: https://gardens.tamu.edu/educational-programs/
Please note: Visitor parking is not included in the registration fee and must be purchased separately if needed.
Registration will open on AgriLife Register on August 24, 2026. RSVPing on this event does not register you for the class.
