Vegetable Dissection! - Nature Journal Club
Schedule
Sat Nov 30 2024 at 01:00 pm to 04:00 pm
UTC-06:00Location
Middleton Public Library | Middleton, WI
*PS - Don't worry about whether something is TECHNICALLY a vegetable or not! You may have heard that tomatoes are actually fruits... bring one in anyway! That could actually be really cool. We'll likely uncover some more non-veggies as we dissect. One thing we can do is compare the dissected veggies' insides, plus look at pics and videos of how they grew ... and with those clues, we should be able to uncover why some "veggies" are scientifically fruit!

WHAT IS NATURE JOURNALING?
Nature journaling is more than drawing or painting pictures--we also write questions and notes in our sketchbooks to wonder more deeply about nature. We’ll talk briefly about ideas of what to write, such as the writing prompts "I notice... I wonder... It reminds me of..." You'll also get some nature journaling tips about ways you could document things that you may see at the event location.
