Alisdair Chisholm has spent a lifetime on stage.

Over 5,000 shows. Conference halls, comedy clubs, private rooms, festival tents. If there’s a crowd and a microphone, he’s probably stood there with a deck of cards and something up his sleeve.
On 5 September, he brings all of that experience into one of the smallest theatres in the country.
This is not kids’ party magic.

It’s a tight, dangerous little show for people who like their evenings clever, close‑up and a bit risky.
Sleight of hand inches from your face.
Stories that start as jokes and end as something stranger.

An illusion that shouldn’t work.
A stunt that probably shouldn’t be allowed in a room this small.
Built for grown‑ups and bold teenagers, for Margate locals who live for live performance and for anyone who loves the feeling of being in the right place at the right time.
It’s the first date on a new run: 100 shows across the UK and Europe, heading all the way to the Strip in Vegas.
And it starts here, in a 50‑odd‑seat theatre by the sea, where you’re close enough to see everything and still walk out wondering how he did it.
