Vegan After Work returns! Join us at at Funk ’n Waffles on Thursday, May 23 5:30pm. Grab a beverage and or one of their sweet/savory vegan waffle themed items and connect with other vegans. It’s a regular night, so it might be busy.
Later that night on stage will be The Human Rights Band w/s/g People People" starting at 8pm. We hear that they may begin loading (as early as 6) & sound checking. If you want to stick around for the music, you’ll need to buy a ticket separately.
We’ll try to lobby F&W to offer some special vegan offering (you may know what we’re hinting at). Please RSVP & come so that we can entice them to do something special. Their regular vegan menu items include:
Vegan Bootsy Brunch Vegan-sausage stuffed Vegan waffle w/ seasoned tofu and Vegan mozz cheese
Falafel Waffle topped w/ Israeli Salad & Tahini
Aunt Miriam’s Vegan Waffle Vegan waffle w/ strawberries and pure maple syrup
Banana Bread Belafonte Banana Bread batter w/ blueberries, walnuts and chocolate chips (vegan)
Vegan Egg & Cheese Sandwich Seasoned tofu and vegan cheese
Seasoned Waffle Fries
Espresso Bar
Fountain Drinks
Draft and Cans
*Street parking is free after 6pm. (best availabliity is a bit earlier)
All are welcome, we just ask that you order vegan options at the event.
