Join us for a master class on Ital, the vegan cuisine of the Caribbean, taught by chef and nutritionist, Alicia Lewis.
About this Event

This is not a passive cooking demo. It is an immersive, hands-on masterclass where you step 'behind the line' to learn the mechanics of plant-based flavor development.
Over three interactive hours, you will learn how to balance bold island spices with nutrient-dense ingredients, mastering techniques you can effortlessly replicate at home.
Everything is provided for you (but it is recommended if it is hot you bring a cool bag). Just show up with an appetite and an eagerness to get stuck in.
In the class you'll:

  • Enjoy Caribbean street food snacks and tropical mocktails/cocktails.
  • Take home 4 complete meals that you’ve prepared together in class.
  • Receive digital recipes and photos from the class
  • Take home a goodie bag with a curated selection of spice blends to kickstart your Kitchen Takeover at home.


We take care of buying all the ingredients, provide cooking appliances and utensils, and take care of the dishwashing. You can focus on enjoying the process of cooking and learning new techniques/recipes - at the end of the class, you will leave with meals ready for you to enjoy, share or freeze.

Spaces are strictly limited to maintain an intimate, high quality work environment.

The kitchen is accessible via public (D Tram, or a short walk from Heiligenstadt U-Bahn) or car.
