Guys it's here! What we once thought was a thing of the past, Salty Dub has managed to bring back to life! With the help of the original mastermind, Sven Couture, the mad scientists at Salty Dub, and the city of St Petersburg, we are bringing one of the most iconic local VW shows back from the past!
That's right! We have actually managed to make this happen! The FIRST and ONLY car show ever allowed at the new St Pete Pier! Guys we are talking Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, and a bunch of other super cars, ALL tried to make this happen, and NONE were approved! As the idea was presented to the board, they all repeated the same common answer as they went around, until it got to ONE lady that remembered the old show, and quickly let everyone know that this was no ordinary car show, this was something that brought the best out of PEOPLE! Memories, smiles, love, community, etc. She told them about what the vw community represents, and that not everyone has to own one, but almost everyone has happy memories of one. So, she was able to convince the whole board, and we got the call...
"I don't know how you guys did it, but congratulations, you managed to be the first, and quite possibly the only, car show to ever be allowed on the premises!"... We could not stop smiling and celebrating!
So, now comes the important question... Are YOU ready to come make local history with us? To show the city of St Pete how big our community is, how grateful we are for this opportunity and how this is just the beginning of another great run of Vdubs on the Pier shows? Then tell everyone you know, get your cars ready and pick your best outfit, because one of the surprises we have for you is that not only will we be hosted in ONE huge VW magazine, but TWO have already come forward saying they will MOST DEFINITELY be a part of this! Not to mention news coverage, local magazines and newspapers, social media coverage, etc!
Guys this, will be THE MOST EPIC VW SHOW the Tampa Bay Area has seen in a VERY long time, and you do NOT want to miss out!
We will line up at the Vinnoy back parking lot at 11am, and at 12pm sharp, we will caravan our way into our designated show area (spa beach) 20 cars at a time, where we will have space for roughly 300 cars, food vendors, merchandise, music, etc. Not to mention an amazing view, some great sunshine, and hundreds, if not thousands, of people from all over, checking our rides out with nothing but smiles and sharing their memories with a classic vw 🙌🏽.

So mark your calendars, May 24th, noon to 5pm, and share with everyone, because you don't want to miss this one!
