About this Event

📢 Introducing: VCFSE Sector Support Space

Need some dedicated time to focus on getting things done? For example, are there funding bids that need writing, or policies that need updating and you don't have the headspace to tick them off? Join us at the VCFSE Sector Support Space, our new informal drop-in session designed especially to help VCFSE organisations get your bidwriting tasks done!

We’ll provide a quiet, comfortable space so you can get your head down and make real progress, plus we’ll be right there with you if you need:

A sounding board to chat through your funding ideas
Help with tricky application questions
Guidance on developing your policies
Reviewing any governance documents

Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided, so whether you're polishing off a nearly-finished proposal or starting from scratch, this is your time to get it done with a bit of support (and biscuit-fuelled motivation) along the way.

** Please note, tickets are available strictly to volunteers and employees working for Voluntary, Community, Faith based groups, Social Enterprises and charitable organisations in Stockport. If you are not part of a VCFSE / charitable organisation then your ticket will be refunded. Please get in touch if you are not sure - [email protected] **

The Sector 3 Offices are based at Suite G1, Part Ground Floor, 1 Wellington Road North, Stockport, SK4 1AF, on the ground floor, with an accessible front entrance, but we can also meet you at the front door, provide ear plugs if you have auditory processing or sensory challenges, or take you to a quiet room before continuing with your visit.

Parking

The Merseyway / Redrock car park is the closest and most accessible car park.

Alternatively Warren Street car park (The Old Sainsburys) charge £6.50 for the whole day, if you're looking for a cheaper option.
