Vaughan Halal Festival 2024

Assalamualaikum everyone! The Muslim Women of Vaughan are excited to announce our second annual Vaughan Halal Festival. After the great success of the first annual Vaughan Halal Festival we have decided to bring it back again for 2024. This year the festival will take place on Sunday October 27 2024 from 12pm to 8pm at Bellvue Manor (8083 Jane st Vaughan ON L4K 2M7). 

 This year we have brought many amazing and talented people who will be performing and giving talks! 

Our honoured speakers and performers are:

 - Abdullah Misra 

- Labibah Salim 

- Raz Hyder 

- The Muslim Women of the York Regional Police 

- Musleh Khan 

- Salam Canadian Band 

- Najam Sheraz 

 We will also have numerous events and activities! 

- The Vaughan Public Library will be doing Story Telling for Kids where they will tell us a story relating to Islamic Heritage Month 

- Food Eating Competition where we test the eating capabilities of our community 

- Qirat Competition for our kids in order to test which of our youth has been keeping on top of learning the Quran 

- Face Painting - Balloon Twisting 

- And many more activities for people of all ages to enjoy! 

 We will have a multitude of vendors from different Muslim businesses with a large variety of food options as well as clothing and all sorts of other vendors. We hope you all come and support them! Our Vaughan Halal Festival aims to help promote Halal Food Products and Muslim ran businesses to strengthen the bond of our community. This is an event that aims to bring together all types of people from all sorts of backgrounds to come together and join us to celebrate Muslim Heritage in Canada.
