Join us for our Glasgow based vascular workshop this autumn. We are proud to be joined by Advanced Specialist Foot Protection Podiatrist Sheryl Braidwood and Foot Protection Podiatrist Nancy Kelleher for a relaxed morning updating us all on the vascular anatomy of the lower limb, the diagnosis of vascular disease, preventative treatment, and patient pathways in Glasgow. Finally, we will also have the pleasure of meeting Dr Samuel Debono a Specialty Registrar in Vascular Surgery based in Scotland who will advise us of the role of the vascular surgical team. This session has been designed to encourage interaction, practical learning and networking and will be the first of many face to face sessions arranged by the Glasgow Branch to bring local podiatrists together to learn.

Time: 1st session starts at 10am however registration starts from 9:30am.

• Case Studies
11:00 Comfort Break (teas coffees and refreshments)
11:30-12:40 Session 2
• Doppler, ABPI and Toe Pressure introduction
• Diagnostic Tools Workshop
12:40 Comfort Break (Teas, coffees, and refreshments)
1:00-2:15 Session 3
• The Ischaemic Foot (Chronic, Acute, Critical)
• Preventative Care (medical management, smoking cessation, and weight management services in Glasgow)
• How to refer onwards
2:15-2:45 Guest Speaker Dr Samuel Debono presents “The Role of the Vascular Surgical Team”.
2:45-3:00 Resources Provisions and Sign Off
