Variety the Children’s Charity is pleased to present Variety Champions of Hearts on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Andiamo Celebrity Showroom in Warren, Michigan. This will be a magical and moving evening in support of Variety Core Programs serving children with unique and special needs, those who are under-resourced or living with illness or extraordinary challenge.
The legendary Michigan State University Men’s Head Basketball Coach Tom Izzo will deliver an incredible message during this inspiring evening as we celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Variety Myoelectric Center which provides state-of-the-art, life-like, electronic prosthetic limbs to children with upper limb differences. Presenting Sponsors include Connie and Bob Skandalaris, Lincoln of Troy, Mission Ford of Dearborn, The Vicari Family Foundation and The Joe Vicari Restaurant Group.
Broadcast Journalist, Anchor and Reporter at WXYZ News Glenda Lewis will serve as Master of Ceremonies as guests enjoy cocktail hour, a fabulous dinner and keynote remarks from Coach Tom Izzo.
