Museum Public Hours & Tours

Masks are required inside the Museum and indoor restrooms at all times.

Experience the architecture of NYC’s oldest Dutch stone house (c. 1709), discover the lives of the Vander Ende & Onderdonk Families, and learn about Ridgewood’s evolution from a rural farming community to a bustling industrial hub!

The Vander Ende-Onderdonk House Museum hosts three floors of Period Rooms detailing daily life during the 18th and 19th Centuries. Our Exhibit Room contains archeological artifacts, historic maps, and regularly revolving displays. Make sure to walk the grounds after your tour.

Admission is required to enter the property (including just the grounds). Adults are $5. Children under 12, GRHS Members, and Veterans & Active Military are free.

Entry is timed. Please select tickets for the date and time slot in which you plan to visit. The grounds close promptly at 5:00 PM. Groups of 10 visitors or more should email [email protected] to reserve a tour time in advance.

Visit our website: OnderdonkHouse.org for closures, special events, and more information.

The safety of our visitors, staff and community are of the utmost importance to us:

  • Masks are encouraged inside the Museum
  • Stay home if you feel sick
  • No food or alcohol
  • No pets except for service animals
