Vancouver Queer Divers Meet & Greet

Vancouver Queer Divers exists to share and promote scuba, freediving and snorkeling with the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Vancouver. We want to create safe and welcoming spaces for queer merfolk to learn and participate in diving activities!

Welcome to our first community event!

Big thanks for The Diving Locker for letting us use their lovely space for our event.

This event is an opportunity for everyone in our community to meet and mingle. A chance to make new friends, meet new diving buddies and nerd out over all things diving, water and marine life related.

We welcome scuba divers, freedivers and snorkelers of any level of skill and experience, including complete newcomers.

We are going to organise some low-stress ice breakers to help everyone get over the initial stress and social anxiety of meeting strangers.

The Diving Locker has requested that folks interested in looking at gear turn up a little earlier (30-40 minutes before the event start), but there will be someone available to help with gear choices during the event also.
