Van Alen Institute and AIA Brooklyn Present: A Right to Housing?

A book talk and conversation with author Samuel Stein and policy expert Andrew Brown at Van Alen Institute in Gowanus.
About this Event

Join the AIA Brooklyn Housing Committee and Van Alen Institute for an evening with author Samuel Stein, in conversation with Andrew Brown, policy expert at Van Alen Institute, on the urgent question of housing as a right.

Stein will introduce his new book and its untraditional structure with a short reading, followed by a discussion with Brown on the issues and questions the book raises — from the politics of housing policy to what a genuine right to housing could look like in practice.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
