Long-time friends Bec and Marty (aka Valley Road) appreciate a good harmony, thoughtful instrumentation and quality songcraft. They collaborate in an organic way, creating moments of gentle beauty and magic that often stir the soul. Their songs are rich in imagery, containing echoes of the dry bush and rolling hills of Central Victoria. Jeff Mifsud is a seasoned multi‑instrumentalist with deep roots in Melbourne’s live music scene, now based on the Bellarine. A familiar figure in pubs throughout the ’80s and ’90s, he honed an authentic, storytelling‑driven sound. An accomplished bush dance caller and folk singer influenced by Stan and Garnet Rogers, he performs weekly at Fyansford Mill.
Tickets are $25 for members of Geelong Folk Club and $35 for non-members.
