Haydn, Symphony No. 101 - The Clock
Haydn’s irresistible “Clock” Symphony anchors this program of
elegance and refinement. Ravel’s delicate tribute to the French
Baroque opens the evening, followed by Berlioz’s ravishing Les Nuits d’été—featuring the phenomenal Nikola Printz, whose artistry warmth will make this a performance to remember.
Known for their “sheer stylistic range” full-throated vocalism and raw emotional honesty, Nikola Printz is a versatile artist making waves in opera, classical music and cabaret stages alike. Recently a graduate of the prestigious Adler program, they have been seen many times at San Francisco Opera, Singing the titular role in the Carmen Encounter, as well as covering other lead roles and singing featured roles in seasons 2023-2025. Nikola returned to the war memorial to singing as a soloist in SF operas inaugural Pride concert in June 2025, and also opened a
recital to great acclaim at the Chan center as part of SF Gay Men’s chorus Q-Lab series. Nikola is also an accomplished aerialist making their Grange Festival Debut and Oregon Symphony debut singing on their trapeze in the summer of 2025. More can be found at nikolaprintz.com.
