Valentino Khan has carved a unique path as both a producer and DJ, known for creating music that connects across cultures and settings. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he first made his mark as a teenage beatmaker, producing for artists like Lil Wayne, T.I., 2 Chainz, Tyga, Juicy J, Bruno Mars, French Montana and Sean Paul. His early studio work quickly earned him recognition; leading to platinum and gold records; “Welcome to the Party” with Diplo, French Montana and Lil Pump, “Oops” with Yung Gravy and Lil Wayne, and Major Lazer’s “Bubble Butt.”
His transition into dance music came with the release of Deep Down Low in 2015, which catapulted itself into an instant classic and remains one of the most-played tracks in DJ sets worldwide. The award-winning, surreal music video only cemented its legacy, and the record propelled Khan into a new stratosphere. It marked his breakout moment in house music, where he has continued to push boundaries and evolve his sound ever since.
His versatility and adventurous ear have kept his records in the sets of the world’s biggest DJs while giving each project its own unique identity. On stage, Khan has built a global reputation with headline slots at festivals like EDC, Lollapalooza and Tomorrowland, as well as his own large-scale High Power shows. High Power has become more than just an event series. It is a world that blends music, production and community in a way that leaves fans inspired and connected.
Following the success of Deep Down Low, he delivered heavy hitting tracks like “Pump” and “Lick It,” which set the stage for his 2019 House Party EP with collaborations alongside Diplo, Chris Lake and Wuki. Since then, Khan has continued to raise the bar, releasing singles with a wide range of top collaborators including Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis, Deorro, Bipolar Sunshine, Sarah de Warren, Malaa, Eptic, Lil Jon, NITTI and Ship Wrek.
That same ethos inspired Powerline, the 2024 EP and event series that embraced techno while honoring the spontaneity of Khan’s early days. With secret lineups and surprise sets from peers like Diplo and Alison Wonderland, Powerline embodied his commitment to keeping dance music unpredictable and alive.
Most recently, Khan released Panorama in 2025, a body of work that reflects his continuous evolution as an artist and his drive to push culture forward. As he enters the next chapter of his career, he remains focused on creating moments that resonate, whether in the studio, on stage, or through the communities he builds.
