Valentine’s Country Swing Workshop & Tournament Competition

Celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with a night full of dancing, competition, and spending time with friends! Whether you’re a seasoned country swing dancer or a first-timer, this event has something for everyone.

We'll start the evening with a Country Swing Workshop, briefly covering the basics of country swing for about 10 minutes to get everyone comfortable. After that, we'll move into more advanced techniques, including dips, rides, and styling tips.

After the workshop we encourage everyone to participate in a Choose-Your-Own-Partner Strictly Country Swing Competition! This tournament-style bracket competition will have dancers competing 1v1 all the way to the final round, where the winning couple will be crowned. The winning couple will win a cash prize!

Don’t have a partner? No problem! We’ll help you find one at the event.

The night will end with social dancing to keep the fun going.

Event Details:

• Dress Code: Come dressed in your best Valentine’s Day-themed outfit (red, pink, or festive attire encouraged!). Prize for best-dressed individual and couple!
• Workshop + Social Dancing: $15 per person
• Competition Fee: $10 per couple (cash only, paid at the event)
• Jackpot Cash Prize for Competition Winners!

Schedule:

• 8:00 PM – Workshop: Learn country swing basics and beyond
• 9:30 PM – Strictly Country Swing Competition: Bracket-style, 1v1 rounds
• 10:00 PM – Social Dancing
